I started knitting dog sweaters when I got Yogi, my own puppy!  It was November in NYC and it was cold.  He barely weighed 2 lbs.  I knew he'd be growing fast and that I would need a new coat every couple of weeks.  I have been knitting since I was a kid so I got out my needles and started knitting with the same yarn that I've used for my own sweaters.  Every sweater I made for Yogi was better than the last and got more compliments.  People started asking where they could buy them and suggested that I make matching sweaters and accessories too.  I have always used very high quality (expensive) hand-dyed yarns, mostly 100% wool or all natural, but sometimes for the sake of the design they may be made of something other than 100% wool.  If they are something other than 100% wool it will be described as such.  All sweaters and designs have been tested by Yogi, which means he's had at least one sweater in each design and has worn it out while playing with his buddies!!!  Yogi loves to play hard and that means they all get tested really well.  I haven't had a single sweater fall apart yet!!!  I sew all sweaters together myself and the seams are sewn together meticulously.  Please check out the yarns and feel free to contact us if there is something special you'd like us to knit something out of.
